Nature of the service
AleaPass is a non-commercial tool provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It generates random passwords locally in your browser; it does not store, transmit or manage passwords, and it does not verify the security practices of the websites where you use them. You remain responsible for choosing where and how to use the passwords you generate.
Intellectual property
- The English word list is the EFF long word list, © Electronic Frontier Foundation, licensed CC BY 3.0.
- The French word list is derived from the wordfreq project (Robyn Speer) and is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0.
- The name “AleaPass” and the logo are used by the publisher for this project. Other names mentioned belong to their respective owners.
